The first of my hopefully-at-least-weekly blog posts about my wanderings and experiments in some of the fields I'm interested in.
Many years ago I studied electronic engineering. Upon completing my studies I was all excited about all the possibilities of things that could be accomplished with my newly found knowledge!
Present day... I realize that in the years since I have used almost none of the things I spent so much time and effort learning. I could probably have done a 1 year basic programming course after highschool and be just as capable at my job.
Today I have decided that I will start learning again. I will force myself to experiment, re-learn and think more deeply about topics such as AI, machine learning, statistical analysis, programming languages, mobile application development and whatever else I've starting playing around with but always gotten distracted midway through in the past.
Creating this blog will force me to research in a more goal oriented way and document what I do.
Who knows, I might even help somebody else along the way!
